Beyond the Camera

Outside of photography, I’m a teacher, a wife, a proud retired military spouse, and a mom to four grown children. These roles have shaped who I am and continue to inspire the way I approach every photography session.

Being a military wife taught me resilience, adaptability, and the importance of cherishing every moment together. Combined with being a mom, it has given me a deep appreciation for how quickly life changes. The little moments: the laughter, the hugs, the quiet glances are often becoming the memories we treasure most. That perspective inspires me to preserve those fleeting moments for the families I photograph.

As a teacher, I’ve learned the value of patience, creativity, and building genuine connections. I strive to create a relaxed, welcoming environment where every client feels comfortable, confident, and free to be themselves.

When I’m not in the classroom or behind the camera, I enjoy spending time with my family, making memories with my husband, and loving on our two German Shepherds. Whether it’s an ordinary day or one of life’s biggest milestones, I believe every season deserves to be remembered.

Photography allows me to combine my passion for people with my love for storytelling. It is an incredible honor to be invited into some of life’s most meaningful moments, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly. My hope is that every image I create becomes a treasured reminder of a moment you’ll never want to forget.
